Apologies. If you are referring to BAZI (5 elements like Gold, Fire, Earth, Wood and Water), I have no idea how geomancy is related to Theravada Buddhism and the making of amulets. Perhaps, other more knowledgeable forum members can chip in their opinions and perspectives in this area? But, it seems that most kathas include the "Na Ma Pa Ta" verse. So, I will assume that the Thais believe in drawing the positive energies of earth, fire, wind and water elements during praying. This subject is too in-depth for me. :)

I am not exactly sure when this amulet was consecrated. The wordings are still too small for view. Should be BE 2546 or 2556. I just did translation of the Thai characters into English with the help of my friend. Hope this helps. :)

Front side of amulet:

Phra Bhuddha Sate Munee
Ratchakarl Tee 3 (King Rama 3) Prab Phin (Get rid of opium)
Bhuddha Sakkarat 2382 (Buddhist Era 2382)

Rear Side of amulet:

Celebrate 80th years, age of Prapee Nang Ther Krumma Luang Narayjiwat Ratchanakatin (King Rama 9's sister)

Generally speaking, your amulet is Lord Buddha. So, it is worn for safety and protection purposes. The translation is just to illustrate the commemoration of King Rama 9 sister's birthday. As what the amulet was consecrated for. In other words, this batch of amulets was specially made by that particular temple to commemorate King Rama 9 sister's birthday, I guess. :)
