i've been using "yang diow" and "sing diow" for "only", but is it correct? like "diow ohk pai gup pern song kon yang diow"?

ya i end up calling my ex girlfriend to ask . the " mer gee pheng maa teung " was what i got , but the "only" i still don't get. as in , i don't know how to ask her lol . yang diow = yi yang * chinese * = meuan gan/meuan gup?

actually enough to say 'phom perng teung'. Not necessary to add mer gee as not necessary in this context.

Need to add only when they ask when you arrived 'teung tawn nai?', then would say 'teung mer gee'.

The other only is used in situations where the thing you are talking about is countable, e.g. objects, issues etc
