its the weirdest thing ever. But to be honest, Singlish isnt that hard, I mean it is just bad grammar and bad pronunciation. If you've been to a school locally for a couple of years, you will pick it up eventually and you will hear it. And plus, locals dont understand proper English, so Ang mohs dont have a choice but to "downgrade" in order to get the message across. I mean, how many times have I said THREE the proper way and end up saying TREE, because the person doesnt get it otherwise...
