Thank you for posting. I am voicing out because of the biased un-truths in this article. Mr Foo might have vetoed for this article. From the traffic and interest on this forum, I dare say that TDs are here to stay in SG nightlife and have carved a percentage of audience away from St James and Dolly.
Its really bad lies aimed at this market segment. Where got s_xual services being offered?!?!? s_xual services are being offered in the China KTVs and Viet Joints. Come on... Please go to any Joo Chiat place or KTV. Most Chinese girls can tao bao because they just see money. Uncles go there to blow 15k per night on singers flowers cause they know they getting ROI. Bang Bang*
The operator of two KTV lounges in the same building, Mr Zhuang, 63, told The New Paper on Sunday: "These prostitutes are not hired by these clubs and if they are confronted by the police, they can just claim to be customers.
Mr Zhuang's China girls are the real Prostitutes. His joints spread X times more s_x. I wanna play money put 10k on the table cant tao bao~~~ Bollocks. Call the mummy please~~~
The relevant clubs should contact the NP and the reporters. The playas in this industry should bind together as an association and fight for their rights.
Atlantis is the only TD which close due to licensing, more because of reasons such as background of owners. The other discos are closing due to bad business and mismanagement and wrong concept. Tats the simple truth of business, wrong concept and unwillingness to cater to market needs. If my forum traffic is still as high as before, it indicates that the market and attendance is still strong and now customers are flocking to bigger clubs and not a lot of small joints.
TDs being new to SG are getting a lot of heat. In time to come, they jus become part of the landscape like KTVs (which are responsible for way more sleaze...)
