Paramount KL
« on: June 29, 2016, 12:09:08 PM »
OS3? OSS? Onyx KL? forget all of them, Paramount overshadowed all competition and leaving them pale in comparison.
(anyways Onyx KL and Paramount i heard had the same boss. )

i made a trip down to Paramount for my last night in KL, having went to OSS, OS3, Onyx KL and even the infamous beach club. i won't discredit the previous 2,3 places I've been too and luckily, able to score at Onyx and OS3.  ;)

my vnam babe working as model in Onyx KL kept talking about Paramount and everyone in town were there, from businessmen to mafia bosses. with such recommendation i had to go down and take a look.

dress code : t shirt/shirt with long pants and shoes.
damn i had my usual shirt and berms + slippers on and walked to the entrance. ushered me in no questions asked. (though when i walked in, did notice some of them gave the  :o look when they saw me in shorts and slippers)

reached about 2245, no promo for drinks. only have package for bottles. 238rm for a tower of beer. Carlsberg if I'm not wrong. place was packed about 2345.

layout:
its the same like OS3 for bros that been there before but cutting off the sides of the sofas in OS3. if not its about the size of Illusion but slightly bigger and longer catwalk towards the centre of the club. nicely done up deco and centrepiece; a rotatable, disco lighting in the middle, it was huge, was able to manoeuvre up and down. about 1ish it was lowered down the audience level and having light display show, ill get to that later.

sound system:
seems like they really made effort to have the audio done up. heart thumping bass and clear pitches. no fuzzing and perfect audio when they played DJ spins and their singing ballets. kudos on this! but would be a tad too loud if u wanna chit chat with ur girls.

back to my story. got a tower @238rm. waiters were prompt BUT the models also doubled up as waiters?? instantly a hot thai girl came over and said hi, asked if i was looking/waiting for my gf. spoke to me with some melayu  ??? , anyways told her I'm from sg she said she previously worked at our very own Ion briefly, but alas got rejected at our customs on her 2nd trip back to our sg shores. great racks (I'm a rack lover 1000%) on her and wore a blue tight gown with a slit on the side of her dress revealing her leggy long legs and fair skin. well almost bit too much cos i can see whats she's wearing underneath if u know what i mean.

soon after another girl came and unknowingly i had 4 girls at my table. we played the usual games we play at sg discos. i guess the first girl that talked to me was high? idk. grabbed my face and we had some tongue action in front of the other 3 girls. one of them was hugging me from behind and one was kissing. (u get the picture). we never had it so easy in sg, everything seemed possible in KL i don't know why. asked me to stay till 4am and bring her back, and of course i did. thats for some other time's sharing.

the army:

150 girls at least, 2 sets. the blues and the reds. blues are the taller and lanky ones; reds are those ave heights. both are equally matched in beauty. 11/10 for most of them. i swear. (usually I'm really brutal with the quality, but theres really nothing for me to fault the girls with)

a dance group made up of 3 vnam girls and a guy. those 3 girls looked like koreans pls 8/10. but they are viet? thats what i was told. another lead viet singer she's easily a 7/10 except she looks plastic. oh wells. thai girl singers in total about 7? who's counting. 555+ guy thai singers about 4 or maybe 5 i wasn't paying attention. one of them used to work in sg i seen him before but can't rem where i seen him before.

theres no chinese singers, chinese songs are sung by thais and female chinese songs by the viet lady. flower power i seen 2.5k rm on a single thai girl. mostly 100-300s. the parade starts at 1230 when they all go up. the girls literally filled up the stage. not even a single space for them to walk. i was wondering initially why they needed such a long catwalk and a proper sized stage other than their dance shows or singing items.

the catwalk lane can be lowered to the same ground level after the girls are done with their marching. the disco light ball was lowered down to the level 1 height and shot bright lights everywhere. supposed to be their one of a kind light show. i didn't get what was the meaning for that show but it really demonstrated their prowess in terms of the lighting and the audio system, sort of showing off what they can do perhaps? i don't know.

bagged a thai babe back and bid her adieu in the morning as i had a flight to catch at 3pm.

what i learned from these girls. they actually had a point system, i think it works for the rest. if a customer first enters the club and orders a bottle or tower, if the girl approaches technically the receipt she had earned it and also she earns a "point" that will be tabulated till the end of each month. 100 points they will have 3k RM so on and so forth. so besides the usual flower banners they ask from customers they will also earn comm for pushing drinks.

i really think this a point that sg discos can learn from. what i notice is those thai girls in sg discos will sit around and have their meals and play phones while we paying customers sit down and entertain ourselves or some to a point needed to walk over and pull them. i think this is ridiculous. thai girls in KL really are a better and professional lot. they are all properly dressed and even for me i got a miserable tower of beer i had loads of fun with 4 fantastic babes that we can only dream about if they were to work in sg. this system will not only pushing the girls to initiate and engage themselves to the customers, they will also in turn help to generate the extra "revenue" for the beers and drinks, so why not?

my initial thought was we won't have lost much to our neighbours up north other than the size of the clubs, we make it up with quality and proper party standards.

i was so so wrong. Kuala Lumpur has coverted me to their style of thai disco nightlife and i really seriously think the owners of the clubs here have a mountain to climb in terms of standard; disregarding the immigration or customs sending this girls back to where they came from. even with sucky looks coming to sg to work, the thai girls here should buck themselves up providing better standards in which they lack of, both looks and attitude.

one of the 4 girls that hung out with me till closing, she was always putting a smile and entertaining my table all night. i asked her why is she so happy. all she told me was, " i love working here, here makes me happy. you don't give flower never mind, but u come here i must make u happy."

i give Paramount a 10/10, a solid 10. will return and will probably make it a monthy trip up. totally will worth it if the standard of their girls are like this all the time.

*PS,

if what i have said offended fellow bros, my sincere apologies. this is my personal view comparing with our own thai disco nightlife. i am in no way, promoting, touting, or reviewing in a manner thats beneficial to them, nor am i an agent of Paramount.

just 2thb worth of review from a fellow bro who loves the disco scene.  ;D

the Point system has been established in Msia since the time when TDs started entering JB....

been to lotsa big thai joints and smaller thai pubs in both JB and KL and they all seems to adopt this points systems.

as usual, hits and misses when having a lady/ ladies entertain you at any thai club...

alcohol pricing is actually not that cheap in KL as compared to JB where many places still sell like Rm300 for twin tower.... the ones in KL usually no beer packages... but will have bottle packages as what our bro mentioned. KL most places the beers usually will start from ard Rm220 onwards for 1 tower... but usually they serve either carlsberg or tiger... dun get no funky crappy beer like what we get in Sg nowadays... lol

over time, having been thru the thai joints in Msia, i find that on good nights, the flower spamming rate is way over crazy when compared with Sg.... if u consider comparing dollar to dollar... and not aft exchange rates... the spam is insane.... prbly that's y nowadays the TGs like to go Msia more often than coming back into SG now... competition is also more intense in Sg whr some establishments have fusion concept...

oh ya... if i not mistaken, Paramount sld be former Neverland in KL, no? or nearby within that vicinity...

On my desk, I have a work station....
What more can I say......

anyway, came across this guy's blog since last year, been using it for my KL disco hunting and thats where i came across Paramount. maybe you guys can use his FR as reference.

PS* im in no way related to him nor is he sponsoring me. personally i have interacted with him via email and he seems to be a pretty friendly and nice guy. would introduce to you the places with your kind of budget.

Bro pump, do give a FR of your time in Paramount, or any other club you went to like OSS or Yes ;D

Almost a year since i last went Paramount, super impressed with their mega disco ball and catwalk stage. Had a great time there and stayed till almost closing, even though i told myself i would stay for 2 hours lol

Last year they had some kimchis, but mostly thais which is fine by me, QC was good as of last year. One of the kimchis used to work in sg before :D

Btw, i agree with you about the TD scene in KL. It's so much more fun and organized compared to SG. Of course, i won't compare KL to LOS. But most of the TDs i went in KL, i felt more taken care of. Even the waiters bother to wrap glasses with tissue, replenish ice fast fast. LDs also cost cheaper due to RM so got much value for money, but only a bit because the sg mentality is to buy more LDs cos it's cheap.

In sg, feels like cut throat prices and hit and miss service. So for budget bros, always have to end up making it for super early happy hour and watered down beer. In KL, you can wonder in at reasonable time (11+) and have a great time. Plus i notice club owners will invest more in their decor, sound system, live band etc. But i guess this is also due to our local laws, sometimes clubs scared to invest too much. Classic example is Kings Club which converted the previous club and looked so nice but is now relegated to our graveyard thread  ;D
