DeeBangkok FR

Out of nowhere a fellow Malaysian jio me to go at Merdeka.
He told me that I should go help to contribute some to help improve Malaysia economy.
11.30pm with speed of light rush to Jb and 00.10am reach DeeBangkok.
The moment I step I feel like "this is where I truly belong".
Welcome by long lost siam bu friend that we met a month ago.
The watery in their eyea makes us feel that we have responsibility to take care them.

Around 16-18 so called model which I rate 4/10->6/10
Around 8 puying singer which I rate 3/10->6/10

Around 4poochai singer which I rate 3/10->4/10

And once again this place have makes me disappointed.
Like I say we go there is to improve Jb economy.
Without delay we take out our beloved RM and support them.
Without stress we did not buy any 🌹and we buy👑 which is only RM200 and with 1🎉
The sincere smile on their face just makes our day which we stay till 3am.
Beer = Heineken bucket RM238? *forget already*
Chicken wing = RM15
Spring Roll = RM10
French Fries = RM9

Environment = 4/10
Singer cmi.
The only good about this place is their DJ got play Electro which is suitable to shake head.
For bros who want to go this place for a chill or drinks, is not highly recommended.

An old school joint, located behind of 400 metres away from Pixie. This is like 2007, sabai sabai or oasis kind of setup. Not many girls. Huge space.

Went on last week week of August
10 mins taxi from CIQ to new york hotel, approximately RM10-15, depending metered or not
Located at the basement of infamous new york hotel, quite hidden, entrance is adjacent to hotel entrance
Reached DeeBangkok at about 12.30am
There are lok lok stalls down the road. There's even some thai food restaurants further down the road (150m)

Second time there, first time was 2 years ago. Decor at the place look exactly the same.
Use to have vegetable salad with thousand island and mayonnaise dip at every table for customers (very interesting)
Now no more cause waiter say manager change  :(

First impressions: Bigger than usual TD, sparsely decorated. Has a stage and live performance
Place gives off an oldie vibe due to wooden decor and plain tiled floors, very retro  8)
Beer prices here don't match the furnishing, 2 towers RM 270, 3 towers RM 370 (irrc)
About 7 singers, mostly ladies
2 set of model shows, singers and models set only, girls here are so-so
you can't really tell who is model and singers sometimes cause it seems like they anyhow
Flower min RM50, pop for RM100 and crown for RM300
This place don't sell food, but can ask to order takeaway from outside, they allow you to bring in
My sotong calamari about RM 25, not bad la ;D

Some ladies came to chat after my tower came
Ladies here not so happening, more chill.
More of play dice, 123, tcss kind of style
Sparse crowd on a weekday, was told by waiter (nice chap to chat with) that crowd here mainly regulars
I think cause the place is so huge, hard for the place to look lively or more hype
Halfway through one of the guy singers came to chat, turn out he is old friend who use to work at golden mile TD
Told me that some old colleagues also came to work in Malaysia for awhile before go back sg
Stayed till closing and went to makan at Thai restaurant down the street

Conclude
Taman abad and pelangi area very convenient, lots of food all around, very close proximity to checkpoint
Taxis are everywhere even 3-4am in the morning so good for bros that want to head back early
Book hotel at home before coming, can save RM30-40 for new york room
Thai food down the street not bad, menu has wide selection
Beer here also no power, feel almost totally okay after 2 towers
I'm starting to think its hard to find decent beer towers in Malaysia

You're everywhere Bro Wind in my breath!

Cos I'm the wind mah. J/k ;D I stayed at York Hotel once before many years back. There was a disco at level 1 or basement then. Think it might be the one you mentioned though it probably have undergone some changes by now. It was fun to cheong JB when my kakis and I would eat seafood at Da Ma Guang Chang and then adjourn to a quiet nondescript shophouse to drink and rabba the TGs. After that can tapao back to hotel. Those were the days. :)
