Besides singers...there are a few other ppl that make ICON one of my fav hang out ...other band members like Daniel (Friendly Guitarist) and PK (Hip Hop Drummer). Staffs like Sam, Nicholas and Alloy are of great help...just tell them in advance how many of u guys coming and where u wanna sit...

I think a lot of people kena Gong Tao. Like Mimi's most ardent fan/s.

The deepness of the Gong Tao is also an indication of the loneliness of Singapore. This is much caused by rapid urbanisation, failed marriages/ relationships and societal disenchantment/ escape.

Of course, I do feel the original lineup of TBKAM is the best. Their guy kill rate is 90%. Almost every guy will fall for one of them. There is 1 girl for every guy's fetish, from s_xy to sweet and demure. Normal SG girls where got so jude, or as wholesome as Kate for that matter. In fact, in Asia ex China and Korea, SG has the unjudest girls. You go RCA Bangkok or Room 18 Taipei, its already dazzling with shows. Most normal SG guys can hardly find such pretty girls to talk to. A temporary panacea for city loneliness.

Musically speaking the band is good too. Punchy and lively with those funny Frankie moments.

If the Icon wants to increase its business, it should renovate a bit, have more male singers to attract girls and have 1 clean female toilet.

Other than that its great la. The formula (band, music, spiders) is almost perfect.

Actually last time I always go out with my guy friends at live impact central mall and golden mile many years ago but I also do not get addicted. Used to frequent discos at st james dragonfly but I feel that the guys who goes there all are eyeing for a motive.
In fact, last time at those thai disco the guys will come over to approach the Spore gals.
I guess why I am addicted to going icon since when my colleague ask me to go told me that there are alot of pretty babes over there. So out of curiosity I followed him together with my company colleagues.
Then I feel that there place is good cos all the thai gals and waitress are so friendly. One thing good is the Spore guys wont come and disturb me too as they droolling for the thai gals!

Veri well said chase bro bt one tin i dun agree iz by putting more male singers to attract female crowd cos iz alwayz the guys dat will be spending money most of the time wat rite?By tradition guys r thr to look for female companionship.:'u noe wat i mean' before bt situations hav change a little .. Nwadys iz oso for many to appreciate thai pop n culture. Besides, tink the main attraction iz the female singers definitely. Add in male singers ? i bet tins will change..we already hav frankie n thomas..Hw u tink the nex male singers should be wearing ? Shorts with clean shaven legs n more hair ?  Behave stupidly? Trust me guys iz not easy for you to find such potentialbility for a male singer...wif looks n talent bind together n their professionalism ..

I think the drinks are moderately price. Considering if high rent popular areas like Zouk or Clarke Quay, they are more expensive. Zouk 1 for 1 is still cheapest at $40~50 for 2 Jugs of anything. Beer bad for health, drink already FAT. 

Yeh true, guy singers have limited appeal If that are that good, they would already Pop Stars in Thailand. And Thailand is the land of Pop Stars and MTV.

I think Icon formula is good, almost perfect. Something for everyone and every guy's interest. Thai songs always have that appeal because of their good melodies and lyrics. At RCA, there are very good teenage bands playing their heart out, and you can just watch and enjoy...

My schedule for this week is simple.

Friday go home and rest.
Saturday Karizma at White Rabbit Dempsey then ICON!!!

Saturday ICON!!!
