My friend on TR2109 is on her way home this morning.
She got u-turn at airport. Escorted by ICA officials to holding room for next flight back to Bangkok.

But the issue is not with u-turn.
In fact, kudos to our strict entry regulations.

The issue is with RUDE CIVIL SERVANTS.

Good that you spotted her marital status. Married woman travelling with single man.

But WHY MUST YOU BE SO RUDE?

Couldn't you have some courtesy to treat is nicely?
It's quite common that married women travel overseas for business trips. Maybe even to spend good money at our state of the art IRs.
Maybe her husband busy or unable to travel, therefore she travelled with somebody else?
Why treat her and my friend, who is a Singaporean, like a criminal?

And even criminals deserve some respect.
Prove first that she is flouting the law.

Why evidence?

Yes Woman's Charter.
But still what false assumptions you have?

This matter won't rest easy.

What was the reason your friend was turned back? According to the immigration site, the "accused" will be refused entry for a list of reasons and they have the right to know and appeal.

If your friend is here for a geniune reason, she should lodge a protest with Thai Embassy for prejudice.

bro not true leh...my fren (siam kia) got send back and they wont tell him anything. only thing they told him was immigration reason. classifed cannot tell him.

Yep. They will tell you that they are not OBLIGED to tell and if you probe further, they will say it is just supiscions. If you want to come in again, just appeal to ICA via email/snail mail at Kallang.

Then next trip they will interview you again... Asking why got u-turn, want to come back so soon..

& No matter what, they are and will always be rude lah...

ICA = it's up to their discretion to admit or not. And if she comes to sg more then 6times in a yr (without a very good reason) they will already be blacklisted.

what documents do i need?
does it means that after applying they will have lesser problems getting in if travelling alone?
