bro she is holding a white card while she is working here in GL, normally after the 2 years working here in singapore. they will have their passport chop at the back and a verbal warning that they cannot come back to singapore in the next 2-3years.
My friend's wife is formally from GL too. When she went back to thailand, she change her passport and come back to singapore for ROM with my friend. She was able to come into singapore, the immigration officer did not stop her. But what my friend did after she arrived in singapore is...
1) get the date for rom immediately.
2) bring the ROM date for extension of visa from ICA
3) After marriage when when he went to applied for long term visa, he declare everything to the ICA officer with an attachement letter. He also did approach the MP...
4) Then He was called into the interview room, the official brought out a file and show them the record of his wife when she work in GL last time. And also a very bad attitude and tone questioning them a lot of questions.....
5) but in the end he replied to the ICA officer and said, that is why he do not want to lie, and declare everything to them...
In the end..his wife was alright and nothing happen to them..now they have been married for 6 years with 1 son.
IMO..do the necessary arrangement first..and declare to ICA and pls do not hide abt her work last time with them..
Thanks alot bro.. but right now i'm still not in the state for marriage.. probably need to wait at least 6 months or so.. so during this period, there's no other ways to get her in?
