My wife's PR was rejected. Any advice whether to appeal or just wait for one more year then apply?
We have a 2month baby who is a sg citizen. Currently she has been staying in sg for just 6 months.
Haiz I thought we have son sure got more chance...but still rejected.

Both applicant and sponsor both have to fit certain requirement. You might want to share more details of both you and your wife. As it will be difficult to provide an advise without them.
I have seen couples (SG man & TH wife), who married for 2 months and have PR status approve for the wife. While some still on a long term visit pass for 3 years already.

hi bros.
happen to come across this forum while researching for some PR related info.
im a singaporean currently working and living in shanghai. my wife is a thai. we ROM back in Singapore in October last year.
After ROM, got her dependent pass in shanghai and has living with me since. I was checking with the Singapore Embassy in Shanghai and they mentioned I can apply her PR through them.
I am not sure about the success rate as we read many news that it will be difficult. but we also heard news from her friend that she got it at her first attempt without much wait as well.
Can you all share your advise, our situation as such,
1) she has never work in singapore (no s-pass etc) before. she did not have bad records before and has never been denied entry.
2) she is 30 this year and is a uni grad from a thai university
3) we have not been living in singapore ever since we are married. I not sure if it plays a part.
4) im 27 years old this year. diploma holder. currently based in shanghai. salary in the range 3.5k-4k
5) as an expat in shanghai, i do not have any CPF contribution ever since i move over in june last year.
6) we do not have any children. and we do not know when we will be going back to singapore for good. just though of applying now to save trouble in the future. especially when we have kids.
