Short review on the place and slight additions to bro spike's FR.
overall very cozy and classy feel, like when club Nana first started out. Club is slightly on the small side, with like enough space for 40 pax in the members area and about 15 standing tables in front of the stage. No idea if management is gonna reduce the bar size down to accommodate more tables anot, but heard from one of the managers that they're probably going to do some reno work during October.
Drinks wise, if you're a martell drinker, then like what bro spike said it'll cost more on your wallet. Beer on tap is Asahi, with a current promotion of 10 small cans (135mls) going for $35 and 20 cans for $65. LDs are actually sake mixed with orange juice, but you can get pure sake if you request. Food is also available, courtesy of indochine.
In regards to the membership, i was informed that if i wanted to purchase martells, it would be 2 bottles with 20 lds for 648. lds also exchangeable for 1 more btl if interested. the default membership bottles will either be JWBlack, Chivas or Nikka. Had a bottle of Nikka myself already, and its really good stuff. alot smoother then JWBlack and better then chivas IMO. also, during events, the type of membership you have will allow you to sign in guests for free, ranging from 1 friend for Bronze up to 4 friends for Black memberships.
Did a slight calculation yesterday, with regards to the black membership. $2188 - $500 for lds - $60 for the btl of champagne and another $328 (this is the selling price) for a bottle of Nikka 17 years (equivalent to Cordon Bleu) = $1300 for 12 bottle of black/chivas/nikka. $108 per bottle. . Even for Silver memberships, a bottle will average out to about $125 each.
One more important thing is that if any of the bros are headed down, recommended to at least wear smart casual, as the management is known to refuse entry if they deem that you're under dressed (berms/slippers and so on). But I'll probably try berms tonight =P
overall, a refreshing change from the usual scene of Thai Discos in SG, and the memberships are pretty much damn worth it. Will be camping here alot more from now on.
thanks for the FR ... btw anything is smoother than sh_t JW BL
