Why are famous singers 'concert' always held in TD instead of Indoor Stadium or proper concert hall?    Is it just purley commerical and monetary reasons?

indoor stadium will cost a lot of money.

- cannot impose cover charge
- cannot sell flowers
- cannot sell liquor, customers cannot get drunk, disco cannot sell more flowers or LDs

last time during the da endorphine concert at Neverland, customers were buying flowers for her like crazy!!! $500, $1000.....

how to cash in like this if the concert was at Indoor Stadium?

and also, i don't think there are enough fans in singapore to fill a 9,000-seat indoor stadium. so about 2,000 in a TD is just about right.

Wish it could be done proper like concerts in Bangkok. Open air or whatever at Fort Canning , smaller hall in Esplanade...

Hanging Flowers for the visiting Thai Artist really spoil the image of mainstream thai music scence it really give the Thais back in BKK of us Singaporean  as being very "old fashion"or maybe CarrotHead  . If not because of the money involve I think the Venue/Management(TD) would not allow it . Can u Imagine da endorphine doing a GIG in a club back in bkk with people selling flowers for them to hang on juz like in Singapore .... Looks Funny rite !!!! 5555++

More to it, the sound systems at td cmi. When potato sang at neverland, it was noise rather than music. Also lotsa young fans came at 9pm.waited until 12 mn before that damned concert started. By then many had left. So sad....

if it is possible to sell so many tickets i'm sure they would have held it at bigger places as compared to thai discos.... but seriously how to sell so many tickets for thai artistes? they are not same as ang moh or chinese or korean singers/bands... fan base in singapore not that big
