the tutuk there isnt cheap. and i cant speak good thai. and food too, it's ex if i walk into any restaurant at Patong. I prefer to stay at Phuket Town whereby it's cheaper and many more things to see and do. Imagine going there for a week and stays alone. Oh my god. what kind of holiday is that man..

Things may not be so bad, well just some suggestion.
Phuket isn't a big province, since you been to Phuket before, so I assumed that you know where are the place you like, otherwise do some research on the google. Once reach Phuket domestic airpot, purchase a sim card that able you to surf the net via mobile, thus you can always do checking even last min.
You mentioned that you know a bit of thai language, so I believe some basic words, this basic words is sufficient to get you inside the tuk tuk and reach your destination, 100 BHT is normal during the day time, unless you know the place and been to the place before, so most probably you can take songtaew, which can save you 80 BHT.
Staying alone isn't a bad idea, remember the girls are back to their respective province, as to say, all the decent ladies working at Bangkok who origin from Phuket also will be back too. Just purchase a water gun during the day time, and join them the fun shooting water at each other.
If you can't trust any thai right now, well you always can change your itinerary to some other place by calling your airline service and pay the date changes charge. Holiday alone is the most fun thing to do, you will never expect who you will meet, what you will do, and lastly nobody can stops you from what you like to do.
