yup mimi and kate will be there to perform for 1 mth... tk over frm old 97(hokkein) place is of course big if u go be4 previously... PRs around 40 odd above average... females singers around 10 guy singers 3 and dancers around 5... drinks list is as wat sgrose sis has shown... beer per jug is $38 LD i am nt too sure maybe $12 i guess...glad to see mimi and kate perform again and i muz say both their vocal have improve alot... most of the flowers and sash went up to both the LI singers last nite

hmm went there for the soft launch yday...quite crowded with prc dancers n a number of thai puyings..mostly from resort n icon too..
i think the live band set is kinda short right? saw ex royal pub singer singing there nw too..

here's a short FR from me on my maiden visit to Neverland last night, on their grand opening.
after a chill-out session at Live Impact earlier in the night, myself, bros Kenzai, Astroboy and Pokerface then decided to adjourn to Neverland at about midnight to go check out the place.
parking was full at Orchard Plaza, so had to park at the opposite building (or was it the Meridien hotel). dunno, can't remember. went up to the 5th floor and had to get our hands stamped (like Nana like that), to enter Neverland.
upon entering, must go up the stairs to the upper floor and what u will see is a huge Thai Disco, but seriously, it looks more like a proper club. huge bar right in the middle, with seats around the bar too and poles for the coyotes to dance on.
we were lucky to get a nice table near the bar, and ordered two jugs of Tiger @$38 each. happy hour pricing (before midnight) is $28 per jug, and $168 for martell. don't know about Chivas pricing, but saw most of the tables around us drinking Martell or beer.
it was good to see Mimi and Kate and Thomas on stage! felt like the good 'ol days at LI when the Citycatz were performing. Mimi looked great, and she had a different outfit for every song she sang too. at one point, it felt like as if i was in thailand, even the DJ spoke in thai.
as we were enjoying our beer and music, was also watching soccer on the two HUGE projector screens. sometimes they will show the soccer, other times the screens will switch to show the live performance on stage, presumably so that those sitting way back in the VIP sofas can see the action on stage.
in between the band sets, the female DJ spun some great tunes, and then the coyotes got up on the stage and bartop to do their thing. about 30 of them dancing at one time, very nice. saw some familiar faces among them.
worth a return visit? definitely. but should go as a big group, then more fun.
opening hours are from 10pm-5am, but i think good time to go is after 11.
